Jo Schlags

is a Dancer, Choreographer, Showgirl, Dance and Tap Teacher. She has danced professionally since the age of 16. In 1953 she won the coveted crown of Miss Detroit. Jo has danced with Detroit Civic Light Opera; Miriam Sage Dancers; G.E. Industrial Shows; and Lou Walters World Famous Latin Quarter in New York City, California and Florida. She has appeared in many National Television commercials, including the principle lead for Pertussin baby products. She also appeared as a dancer on The View and the Rosie O’Donnell shows. In 2009 she was a winner in the Ms. Senior Pageant of Florida. Jo currently performs with The Original Florida Follies.
